AUDIOBOOK PRODUCTION
We turn finished manuscripts into audiobooks that meet retailer standards and find listeners. Whether you want to narrate it yourself, hire a professional narrator, or aren't sure which is right for your book, we handle the production end-to-end.
Audiobooks are now 15% of all adult book sales and growing 13% year over year. More importantly, human-narrated audiobooks earn 7.5x more in royalties than AI-narrated ones. Listeners notice and pay for the difference between real performance and synthetic voice.
That's the part we get right.
A few of the ways we work:
Author-narrated production — You record your own book, and we coach you through it, recommend the right equipment, direct you during recording, and handle all the editing, mastering, and quality checks. This is best for memoir and any book where your voice IS the story.
Professional narrator and production — We cast the right narrator for your genre and audience and produce the finished audiobook from voice direction through final master. You pay per finished hour.
Studio-quality recording from your home — You want to record it yourself but don't have a studio. We help you build a recording setup that meets ACX, Audible, and Findaway technical standards using your existing space. Equipment recommendations, acoustic treatment guidance, and remote direction during your sessions.
Editing and mastering only — You've already recorded the book and need professional post-production. We edit out breath sounds, mouth clicks, and re-takes, master the audio to retailer standards, and deliver finished files ready for upload.
Distribution setup — Submitting to Audible (via ACX), Apple Books, Spotify, Google Play, Findaway, Libro.fm, and library platforms like OverDrive. We handle the technical pipeline so your book reaches its audience.
Hybrid arrangements — Some clients want full production for their first book and just editing support for the next. We’re happy to help you figure it out.
What's included in every project
Real audio engineers. Every audiobook is touched by a person who actually listens to it.
Retailer-standard mastering. Audible, Apple Books, and Spotify all have specific technical requirements (RMS levels, peak limits, noise floors, file formats). Every audiobook we produce meets every standard, every time.
Voice direction during recording. Whether you're narrating yourself or working with a professional, we direct each session so the finished audio sounds intentional and clean.
Real human producers. Real human voices.
Because 51% of Americans — 134 million people — have already listened to an audiobook. Your readers are already listeners. The only question is whether your book is somewhere they can find it.
