EDITING

$0.00

We edit books that are built to sell. Whether you're working on a debut novel, a memoir, a business book, or a children's series — and whether you're submitting to agents, working with a publisher, or self-publishing — every edit comes with notes on positioning so your book is ready for the market it's actually entering.

A few of the ways we work:

  • Developmental editing — Big-picture work on structure, plot, pacing, character arcs, voice, and theme. We read your manuscript as a whole and tell you what's working, what isn't, and HOW to fix it. Includes a detailed editorial letter and inline comments throughout. Best for authors who've finished a draft and need a senior set of eyes on the bones of the book before they revise.

  • Line editing — Sentence-level work on prose, rhythm, clarity, dialogue, and voice. We work line by line through your manuscript, sharpening every sentence while preserving your style. Best for authors whose structure is solid but whose prose needs to read at a professional level.

  • Combined dev + line editing — Many manuscripts need both. We can do them in sequence (developmental first, then line after revisions) so you’re supported through the entire editorial process.

  • Editorial assessment — Reading the first 50 pages and providing a written assessment of the manuscript's strengths, weaknesses, and market readiness. Best for authors deciding whether their book is ready for full editing yet, or whether it needs more drafting first.
